For Alex's birthday, after the all important cocktails in Singapore, we're off to Nikoi Island for a party. Then Claire and I are off to Cambodia.
Our itinerary in Cambodia with See Cambodia Differently is broadly as shown in the map below with a few extra bits added:
We start in Phnom Penh and a trip to the killing fields. We then go up country in search of wildlife: dolphins, elephants and a gibbon safari. Finally, to Seam Reap, including Ankor Wat of course, but also learning to cook a Khmer curry.
It's getting very exciting, but also scary how close we are to leaving with no real preparation yet. Looking forward to only needing shorts and a t-shirt rather than woolly, coat and an umbrella. Bye for now.
